A Fantastic weekend at Oxwich

At last great weather, great company - a fantastic night stay at Oxwich Bay

We sailed up on Saturday morning leaving Cardiff Bay Yacht club at 0800, a sail all the way down the cost and into Oxwich Bay,

We stayed the night at Anchor - had a swim, caught some fish - only one that we could eat - which didn't go far among 6 people - but it was still lush, did some paddle boarding, just generally had a awesome time, with great company.

Joined on the Sunday by our mates Jon and Claire on their speed boat - Claire did a bit of paddle boarding with us too, another great day - then we decided to go into Swansea marina, and go out for a meal, I would have selected to stay another night at anchor if I had my way - but the vote won - so off we went.

Just a great weekend lots of laughing and fun, times like this and it really sinks in how lucky firstly I am to have such treasure as a sailing yacht, but also how lucky I am to have great family around me, oh and also how lucky we all are (those who live around Cardiff) to have the South Wales cost - it really (on a hot summers day) doesn't

get much better than this...
